I have known Aimee and Jeremy for a few years now. I had the honor of photographing the two of them prior to one of his deployments over seas. Then last fall they contacted me and said they were finally expecting a little one. I was thrilled for the both of them and was honored to capture their pregnancy, birth and their little man after he arrived. He is just precious and seems like he has been such a great baby. I love our sessions together because Aimee is full of ideas! And they are always super cute. They are big fans of the Avengers and little mans room is decked out in them. It was only fitting to have a family pictures with all of them wearing Avenger gear. We had several other outfit changes for little man and he was a trooper never complainging. I just love the moments we captured of them trying to get him to laugh. He was pretty serious most of the session but we got in a few smiles.

And another one! This summer is full of weddings! I have several of my own bookings but I am having a blast being Dawn Smart Photograph's second shooter. She will return the favor this weekend with a beautiful wedding up at 4 R Ranch with Kaylee and Josh. This wedding was simple and gorgeous! For beinga middle of the week, small, lakeside wedding, the bride and groom did an amazing job with all of the details. I loved their colors, their cake, the ceremony, okay I loved everything about it! It was so relaxed, their friends and family were so friendly and the ceremony was beautiful! It was a first for me, they combined Christian and Jewish traditions, and it was one I will remember forever. Their vows were truly spoken from the heart and you could just feel the love these two had fore each other. I love all the moments we captured for them!

Mygland Family | Family Photographer Helena, Montana

Earlier this month I had the joy of photographing the Mygland family for the second time. I photographed them last spring when their son turned 1. My how he has grown since then! He is a handsome little guy and they are such a nice family. For our session they invited me to photograph them up at their new property where they will be building their new home. The property was absolutely beautiful! And the view is amazing! We got some really great pictures of all of them together, their little man and some of just Mom and Dad. I just love taking photographs in the mountains! There is nothing like capturing Montana's rugged beauty.

Davis Family | Family Photographer Helena, Montana

Brittany and I have been talking for months about photographing her family this summer. It was so great to finally get them in front of my camera! Her and Curt's children are all so great! I was impressed when one of the twins thanked me for doing this for him and his family. Talk about good manners! We had a great session out in Boulder, MT at the fairgrounds. It was a beautiful night out aside from all the mosquitoes that wouldn't leave us alone!

Another beautiful wedding! I got the honor of being the second shooter for this wedding with Dawn Smart Photography again. I really enjoy working with Dawn and we make a great team when it comes to documenting weddings. This wedding was at a the gorgeous Sleeping Giant Ranch. I have had the joy of photographing some of the Syness family before and it was great to meet more of them at Aimee and Kyle's wedding. It was the hottest day of the summer so far with temps into the 100s. I thought Dawn and I might melt but we made it through the day and captured some really beautiful moments.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Nick since he was just a young boy. He was the ring bearer in my best friends wedding over 12 years ago and her brother-in-law. He has grown into a handsome young man. I got to meet Amy when they first started dating and last summer they contacted me to photograph their wedding. I was so excited for the two of them and their little family. Soon after meeting with them last summer we did engagement photos in the fall. It was great to get to know Amy more and see the love that these two have for each other. Their wedding kicked off my busy summer season and boy was it fun! The venue out at Staubach Creek Ranch was gorgeous and those Nordahl and Owens's families know how to have a good time! I enjoyed photographing their whole day and we got some pretty amazing photographs documenting their special day. I just love country weddings!

Miss Sylvee | Newborn Photographer Helena, Montana

This little peanut is so adorable! I was so excited when my cousin's wife contacted me shortly after her birth. This is the first time I got the honor of photographing their beautiful family and our session went great. We got a few pictures with Mom, Dad and big brother and then we had fun styling the rest of our session . We decided to go all out and go girly! Once we got her to sleep, which took a litttle while, we got some great photographs of her. She is so petite. I just love her little feet and nose!
