Titus {Newborn}
He is just so adorable!! All 10 pounds of him! I couldn't wait to get him in the studio! I have been watching his mama be pregnant most of the year while playing on a woman's softball team with her. We knew she was going to have a boy but didn't have a name to put with the cute little one till he got here. Titus fits him well! She brought him in a week or so after she had him and we managed to get a few great pictures. He wasn't too interested in sleeping or letting us put him down but a few shots was all we needed.
Synness Family { Sleeping Giant Ranch}
This session totally made my day if not my entire year! The family had bought a gift card from a local auction that I donated to and booked a couple of months in advance. I was told they had a ranch at the base of the Sleeping Giant, much to my surprise, their ranch is basically on the Sleeping Giant! I was so excited once I met up with them and started following them up the mountain! I cannot express how much I have always wanted to go up there and be that close to the Sleeping Giant. There is just something about that mountain that captivates me. It also holds a special place in the Synness Family too. They have owned the land for a long time and their pride shows. They were such a great family to work with. It was super windy and a bit cold out but they were all good sports and we got some great photos.
Karlin {6 Months old}
She is such a cutie and I cannot believe how much she has changed since she was born! I have had the honor of photographing Karlin since before she was even born so I was super excited to get her in the studio for the families infamous 6 month nudey shot! It is a 70 year tradition in her mother's family and they weren't about to be the first ones not to have the picture taken. Karlin was all smiles and we had a great session, but who could with a cheeks like hers!
The Blessing of Christmas
This year has been full of lots of blood, sweat and tears, but mostly blessings. I am so thankful for Christmas, even in the midst of a storm, to help remind me of the many blessings that this year has brought me and my family. This past month has been physically, emotionally and mentally draining due to a an unexpected family situation that I never thought I would have to deal with. And I have really been struggling to get in the Holiday spirit, but I am reminded constantly of God and his goodness, and how he has allowed me to follow my dreams this past year. I am so thankful He has given me this gift and has allowed me to share it with others. I truly enjoy taking photographs of others and I hope that I am able to do this for years to come. I hope you are each blessed this Christmas with more than just gifts but God's grace, mercy and hope!
Merry Christmas,
Fallon
